I think all these pictures refer to the text in a different way. They all have parts of the text only some are a little clearer to see. I think the best picture that represents Jacobs dream is Gustave Dore's. There is a light coming down from the ladder which obviously means its a dream. There are many angels and they are coming from different ends from the ladder. I think Sir Edwards is the least similar because it just shows the angels going up the ladder and the backround dosn't show the sky and the ground. Overall, all the painters have the same idea with there painting and i think they were all succesfull.
